Shabbat Services
Led by Rabbi Mark Sobel, our Shabbat services are specifically geared toward families. Everybody is welcome to join us each Friday at 7:30 p.m. throughout the year.
On the first Friday each month, from 7 - 8 p.m., we host TYPS - Temple's Young People Service - for those young and young at heart. The service features a more family friendly start time and length, with stories, singing and music!
An oneg shabbat follows to help us all share the joy of the sabbath.

Shabbat Across America
Join us at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010
On March 5th at 5:30 pm we will join hundreds of synagogues across the continent to take part in “Shabbat Across America.”
At 6 p.m. we will begin a joyous Shabbat Pot Luck Dinner hosted by Havurah Shachar, followed by TYPS service at 7 p.m.
EVERYONE is invited!!!
Board Meeting

Temple Board Meetings, held the second Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted) are open to all Temple members who are in good standing.
7th Annual Women's Seder
Tuesday, March 16th, 6:30 p.m.
Join us as we tell the story of the Exodus and celebrate Miriam’s legacy.
A light Passover dinner will be served.
All Temple women and their friends are welcome.
There is no charge for this event but reservations are a must as we need to know for how many to plan. RSVP to Leona Zollman at 818-761-3931.

CPR and First Aid Classes
Temple Beth Emet is offering CPR and First Aid classes. They will be held in Blum Hall. These classes are hands on and the CPR classes will have dummies to practice on. Please dress in comfortable clothing for both classes.
The instructor is certified by The Red Cross and upon completion you will receive a written certification by the Red Cross. These are things everyone should know in case of an emergency.
CPR - Saturday, April 10th, 1 - 5 p.m.
First Aid - Sunday, April 11th, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The cost is $30 per class for Temple members and $40 per class for non-members. Class size is limited so reserve your spot early.
